SMART, COMPACT DESIGN AND QUICK ASSEMBLY
The BRUIN is our smallest TuffBoxx model, but don’t let the size fool you. It is a top loading compact bin large enough to hold 4 bags of garbage, and is probably large enough for most of your requirements. With its top loading lid, garbage and other waste items are easily put into the bin for secure storage, keeping out bears and other wildlife.
These TuffBoxxes are suitable for curbside collection or for intermediate storage of garbage until taken to your municipal waste management center. All TuffBoxx containers are made in a ready to assemble design, and the bins are shipped unassembled in boxes.
BUILT TO KEEP THEM OUT
The base version BRUIN is easily strong enough to keep out smaller critters like raccoons, squirrels, rats, and smaller Black Bears. To meet the requirements of being a Certified Bear Resistant bin, you will need to add the Bear Guard brackets, which prevent bears from being able to grab the lids and potentially bend them. With these brackets the BRUIN is able to stand up to all Black and mid sized (up to 600 lbs.) Grizzly Bears.
Secured Protection
The BRUIN can be securely mounted to a concrete pad or other solid base with the mounting system that is built into the bottom of the bin’s base. It can also be secured with a chain (up to 1/4") or cable to a tree or other secure post. With it’s strong durable construction, the BRUIN bin provides some of the strongest protection money can buy.
TuffBoxx Bruin, Grizzly, and Kodiak comes standard with 3 colour schemes: Mint Green/Charcoal Gray, Beige/Charcoal Gray, or all Charcoal Gray. All bins are shipped unassembled in boxes.

Bear Guard – Full Sides | $129/pair
Bolt on brackets that keep the TuffBoxx lid from being grabbed from any spot where a large bear could have leverage on the lid. These brackets are what make a TuffBoxx certified as Grizzly Bear Resistant, and were used when tested with Polar Bears. Should be used to get best results with larger black bears, grizzly or kodiak bears, and polar bears. Charcoal colour only.

TuffBoxx has a limited five year warranty that covers any manufacturing defects. While TuffBoxx has a premium powder coated finish, over its all galvanized steel construction, the warranty doesn’t apply to issues connected to rust and corrosion that are caused by neglect due to improper cleaning where there is excessive road salt or other corrosive elements.
